Parish Nurse Position Opening in Northwestern Minnesota
Zion Lutheran Church of Warroad, MN is seeking a Parish Nurse for 20 hours/week. The Parish Nurse (faith community nurse) is a paid employee of the congregation hired as an integral part of the Staff Ministry Team. This position is designed to provide whole person health promotion and disease prevention services with an emphasis on spiritual care.
Minimum requirements include:
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Minnesota
- Previous experience as a Parish Nurse preferred or 5 or more years experience as an RN
- Completion of an IPNRC approved Parish Nurse Preparation course or willing to complete
- Maintains high ethical standards, personal integrity and confidentiality
- Self motivated; strong interpersonal skills, good communication, organization and time management skills
