Today, it seems like everyone is getting on the bandwagon

Did you know that we have a congregational nurse program? This program
helps congregation members identify their health care needs, express
health concerns, and find and use the community services they need.
And, we’re not alone. Today there are more than
8,000 – 10,000 parish nurse programs across the country, with
at least 600 programs in Minnesota*. Simply, a congregational nurse
is a registered nurse whose specialty is working in faith communities
to help individuals promote, protect and optimize their health,
prevent injuries and illness, and alleviate suffering within the
values, beliefs and practices of the faith.
