Schedule dates. Hold the services 3 or 4 times a year on Sunday PM’s from 6:30-8:00

Advertise in bulletin, brochures, and overhead announcements
(e.g. Prayer Service for Health, Hope and Healing, Sunday, August 19 at 6:30 PM. The service will include worship, prayer, laying on of hands and anointing with oil. Come and invite others who would like healing in their lives.)
(On flyer: The focus of our service is Jesus Christ, who is our healer. Come and experience His presence. Join with others in prayer for:
Physical or emotional illness
Life controlling issues, such as addictions, depression, anxiety, bitterness
Spiritual dryness and feelings of separation from God
Your own specific prayer need.)

Recruit greeters, prayer helpers, nursery helpers and someone to give testimonial

Pray for the service ahead of time

Gather “tools” for the service: oil, Kleenex, list of church resources and encouragement booklet to send home with those prayed for

Set up prayer cells at front of sanctuary. (Three circles of five chairs. In each group there will be a pastor, elder and parish nurse). Note: We have also used kneeling benches with the pastors, etc standing behind each.
